Jennifer E. Sunderland

Principal Consultant

As principal/owner at Strategic Pay Resources, Jennifer uses 30 years of HR management experience to design the performance-based compensation and performance management systems that work best for each client. She has supported public and nonprofit entities, as well as private companies in every industry. Jennifer is active in the business and HR communities, having written articles for The Journal of Compensation and Benefits, Workforce Magazine, PIHRAScope, and the Los Angeles and Orange County Business Journals, and lectured for the Los Angeles Compensation and Benefits Association, the Professionals in Human Resources, the National Human Resources Association, and the Association of Internet Professionals. She is a long-time PIHRA North Orange County, CA, board member and chair, with prior service as chapter chair and vice chair. Jennifer has a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in human resources management from Woodbury University in Burbank, California.

Catherine E. Round

Senior Consultant

With 20 years of compensation analysis and market research experience, Catherine is our whiz at designing and conducting salary surveys, competitive market analysis, survey database management, and reporting. Her business administration studies led to careers in HR and administration before joining Strategic Pay Resources. Catherine has consulted with companies in retail, IT, software, manufacturing, distribution, aerospace, automotive, construction and engineering, professional services, health care, life sciences, consumer products, and nonprofit organizations. She also holds professional memberships to WorldatWork and the Society for Human Resources Management.

Laura Streeter

Senior Consultant

With an education in social sciences and nearly 20 years of nonprofit HR-management experience, Laura is our perfect match for school districts, offices of education, and other not-for-profit organizations. She excels in classification studies and analysis for nonprofits. Laura also holds professional memberships in the Society for Human Resources Management, the Professionals in Human Resources Association, and the Human Resources Association of the Central Coast.

Brenda Roth

Senior Consultant

Forty years’ experience in both the public and private sectors, including assignments in organization planning, compensation plan development and implementation, pay-for-performance programs, and performance management plans, plus an extensive business and public administration education make Brenda an asset to our team. She is a long-time PIHRA North Orange County, CA, board member and chair, with previous roles as chapter chair and vice chair. Brenda also holds professional certifications from the Human Resources Certification Institute (Senior Professional in Human Resources) and from WorldatWork (Certified Compensation Professional and Global Remuneration Professional).
